Membership Forms

Forms, along with a check or online payment confirmations, should be emailed to CIEF.caymantreasurer@gmail.com, or dropped off in the CIEF folders located at Cayman Riding School and the Equestrian Center.

As a reminder, any competitor under the age of 18 must have at least one parent or guardian become a member (non-competing).

Our new membership form is a fillable PDF that we hope you find easier to use.  The form has changed since last year so that we may comply with the new Childrens Law. Under the new law, we, as a sports body, are required to gather certain information on our volunteers and adult participants, hence the changes in the form.

In addition, our adult participants and volunteers must provide the CIEF with:

a) two letters of reference (a fillable PDF version of which can be found here),

b) a police clearance letter (available online by clicking here), and

c) attend Child Abuse Prevention Training through the Ministry of Community Affairs, Youth and Sports.

We understand that for our adult participants and volunteers this may be a burden, but this burden is required of all adult volunteers for all sports activities in the Cayman Islands. If you have already completed the Child Abuse Prevention training, and have collected the reference letters and police clearance as a volunteer for another sport, you may forward copies of such documentation to us, and that will be sufficient.

A copy of the Child Abuse Prevention Policy for National Sports Associations can be found here. Please note that our Child Protection Officer is Sharon Hinds (916-6143).
